Arkansas Fishing Trip - April 14 - 21, 2007

Horseshoe Bend, Ark - Family Fishing Trip

April 14 - 21st, 2007
Bob, Debe, Gerald, Sue

On April 14th, 2007 - Bob, Debe, Gerald and Sue Canaday all loaded up in the SUV for a trip to Horseshoebend Ark. Yes, this would be a fishing trip and to relax and have fun. The weather had just taken a big change so the fishing wasn't very good. But we did enjoy the time sharing unit we were staying in and seeing the towns we ventured to. Here are a couple pictures of the lake we fished on and Bob and Gerald putting the boat in and taking it out. Also a picture of the town where we stayed (showing there is about nothing there lol) And a picture of Bob and Gerald in the time sharing.

During the week we headed up to Mammoth Springs for the day. We were all shocked how much water comes from that spring. At the dam, the waterfall it made was beautiful. It was also a beautiful day.

Another stop was at an old town for visiting and lunch. (can't remember the name of the town) There was a folk music festival going on and some great BBQ for lunch. We shopped at the antique stores and even got ice cream there.

Overall, a great relaxing trip but can't say the fishing was so great. It was great to spend time with Gerald and Sue (Bob's mom and dad). We had a very good time.

The End
